Join Heather Rupp, Ph.D., CMT-P, RYT200 for a morning of grounding and resetting. The session will include yoga, meditation, Mindfulness practices, and personal inquiry. Across the morning we will work to ground our energy and minds in order to return home to ourselves. Private Mindfulness Coaching
Heather Rupp, Ph.D offers private and group in-person Mindfulness coaching and education. She is uniquely qualified to move you or your organization forward with her doctorate in Neuroscience and certification in Mindfulness. Group and individual sessions are aimed to bring awareness to existing habits, thought patterns, and emotional challenges and provide tools to expand beyond them. Heather spent fifteen years researching cognition and behavior as a neuroscientist and corporate consultant. She has a Ph.D from Emory University in Psychology followed with post-doctoral work at Indiana University and the Kinsey Institute with a focus on hormones and behavior. Following her scientific career she obtained training and certification with the Mindfulness Training Institute and International Mindfulness Teachers Association.
For the last 5 years she has combined her scientific knowledge with the practice of Mindfulness Her students learn about themselves, personal patterns, emotions, cognitions, and their own potential. She grounds the practice in scientific validity and real-world practicality to make it accessible and understandable so that people can learn to incorporate Mindfulness effectively into their daily lives.

This four-week introductory series will teach students how to incorporate Mindfulness into daily living for less stress, less reactivity, and better overall well-being. Students will develop a home meditation practice and learn Mindfulness techniques to foster their development and health. The month to Mindfulness will include:
* Training in meditation, developing awareness of breath, body, feelings and thoughts.
* Managing stress and learning how to shift from reaction to response.
* Recognizing and letting go of unhelpful habitual thoughts and mind states.
* Exploring, understanding and working with a range of emotional experience.
* Developing self-awareness and self-acceptance.
